Andrew Bell is the Founder & CEO of L2 Labs, where he builds AI tools for enterprise data integration and interoperability, beginning with EDI and supply chain connectivity. His path into EDI began while working with TrueCommerce on machine learning for supply chain forecasting, where he saw firsthand that no forecast or expected delivery date matters unless businesses can first connect and communicate. That experience led him to see EDI as the “first mile” of the supply chain. L2 Labs now builds AI-assisted tools for EDI onboarding, mapping, and testing, including technology deployed with TrueCommerce.

 

Andrew received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University, where his research focused on AI and machine learning systems that are explainable, interpretable, and usable by people. He was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a fellow at the NYU Center for Responsible AI, and later held a postdoctoral position at Cornell Tech. He has conducted AI research across academia, industry, government, and nonprofit organizations, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Clemson University.
